Ginger Rogers (Courtesy the Art of the Bar Book)
- Fresh Mint
- 1/2 oz Ginger Syrup
- 1 1/2 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- Ginger Ale
- Lime Wedge for Garnish ( I garnished with Mint)
Muddle the mint and the simple syrup. Add ice to the glass and fill with the gin and lime juice, then top with the Ginger Ale. Use a bar spoon and stir from the bottom up.
This was a delightfully refreshing drink, and a big hit with my friends, a definite crowd pleaser.
